November 2025 - Seasonal Serenity

We’ve Made It to the Holidays!

I know everyone is busy cooking family meals, Christmas shopping, and sipping seasonal drinks, so I’ll keep this one short to save all of us some time. Our November Peaceful Parcel is one of my favorites so far. Each of the products radiates self-care and simplicity — things that I personally feel make life a little more mindful.

I’m also excited to share that this month, we had two different influencers review our box! Both are people we’ve worked with before and are so sweet and easy to collaborate with as a small business. You can find their links at the bottom of this page.

Even though I love how this box turned out, of course there were a few snags along the way. The first issue was that two of the products we originally selected had production problems and wouldn’t arrive in time for our shipping date. Luckily, we were able to work with two new brands on an abbreviated schedule, and they were wonderful in getting our orders to us on time. Shout out to Midwest Glow and Nuria for being so friendly and helpful!

The second challenge came after shipping. One customer received a product that had arrived damaged — more like slime/goo than cream — but Nuria was again very helpful and sent a replacement. Another order arrived with missing products due to damage during shipping. These situations are especially difficult for small businesses because, unlike larger companies, each order matters a lot. We’ve already replaced the missing products and filed a USPS claim to hopefully be reimbursed for the damaged or lost items.

I share all of this with you because I want to be honest about what running a small business is really like. If you have dreams, like I did, of starting your own online business, I prefer to guide and share my honest experiences rather than gatekeep. It’s not always perfect, but it’s always worth it.
